Torcon
The 1948 Worldcon held July 3-5 at the RAI Purdy Studios in Toronto, Canada. GoH: Robert Bloch. FGoH: Bob Tucker. Chaired by Ned McKeown.
It was selected at Philcon I defeating a bid from Milwaukee, WI, was sponsored by the Derelicts (the Toronto Science Fiction Society), and was the first Worldcon to be held outside the United States.
The complete talks at Torcon were tape recorded and later printed in the Torcon Report.
