Tamora Pierce

Tamora Pierce is an American writer of YA fantasy fiction for teenagers, usually featuring stories with young heroines. She is known primarily for her first book series, The Song of the Lioness (1983–1988).

She will be GoH at MidAmeriCon II, the 2016 Worldcon.
