Sheraton Park Hotel

A legendary hotel in Washington, DC, site of many Disclaves and Discon II. It's geometry was somewhat exotic — Joe Mayhew described it as being modeled on Castle Ghormenghast. For example, the main hotel basement connected directly to the 8th floor of the attached Motor Hotel. The consuite in C-640 also achieved legendary status.

It was demolished immediately after Disclave 23. The convention swears that it had nothing to do with it…

(It was subsequently rebuilt, but into a less…interesting…and more mundane structure and was used for the DC in '92 bid.)
