Sheffield University Union SF&F Association

More fully the Sheffield University Union Science Fiction & Fantasy Association, it was a club at Sheffield University in Sheffield, UK which existed for a few years in the early 60s. There was a clubzine, Entropy, but it quickly died.

There were only a few members at first — too few to fill all the offices and committee positions — so that Brian Jordan, one of the founders described the club as having "a committee of eight and a membership of one."

After a short life, the club merged with the school's astronomical society and became the Sheffield University Science Fiction and Astronomical Society or Astrosoc.

This is a stub club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, club fanzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.
When there's a floreat (Fl.) this indicates the time or times for which the club is attested. Clubs probably lasted longer than that. Please update it!
