Jack Skillingstead
(1955 —)
Skillingstead is an American SF writer living in Seattle, Washington. As of 2014 Skillingstead had published thirty-one short stories in professional and semi-professional markets. He had also published two novels and a short story collection.
He has been nominated for the Philip K. Dick Award and the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award. In a review of Are You There and Other Stories, Skillingstead was called "a major author in the genre of SF."
Since 2011 he has been married to writer Nancy Kress.
