Hatcon

A series of conventions held in Danbury, CT and run by Kennedy Poyser and Victoria Poyser. (The name was from Danbury's importance in the hat trade in the 1800s and from the phrase "Mad as a hatter.")

Hatcon I was a relaxacon held New Year's Eve 1983 through the early hours of New Year's Day 1984 at the home of Kennedy Poyser and Victoria Poyser in Danbury, CT. The program was gossip, the banquet lasted eight hours and art show sales were $3600.
