Great Wall of China SF, Marching & Chop Suey Society

(Also known as the Great Wall of China Science Fiction, Marching & Egg Foo-Yung Society.)

This entirely informal group consists of whoever is present and meets around a dinner table (usually) at a Chinese restaurant on the Saturday of conventions. Food is (usually) served family-style.

This originated before 1960, at a time when Chinese food was still an exotic rarity in much of the US. For many fans, Great Wall dinners were their introduction to Chinese food.
