George Clayton Johnson

(1929 — December 25, 2015)

George Clayton Johnson was a SF writer most famous for co-writing the novel Logan's Run (with William F. Nolan). He is also known for his work in television, writing screenplays for such series as The Twilight Zone and Star Trek. He also wrote the story on which the 1960 and 2001 films Ocean's Eleven were based. His work has appeared in numerous anthologies.

He has won Balrog (1983), Inkpot (1976), and Saturn (1977) awards. He was a GoH at The Fantasy Symposium in 1979.

All of Us Are Dying and Other Stories (Subterranean Press, 1999) is a collection of his fiction.
