Detroit in '85

A bid to run the 1985 Nasfic (opposite Aussiecon 2) i a single hotel in Detroit, MI or Dearborn, MI.

It was run by a coalition of fans from Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Ypsilanti and spearheaded by Steve Simmons and Dan Story. Other members of the bid committee included Jean Barnard, Tara Edwards, Tom Barber, Carol Lynn, Nancy Tucker, Howard DeVore, Brian Earl Brown, Denice Brown, Roger Sims, Fred Prophet, and George Laskowski.

It was organized by the Southern Michigan Organization of Fans, i.e., SMOFs.
