1967 Best Fanzine Hugo

The 1967 Best Fanzine Hugo was presented September 3 at NYcon 3. Only first place finishers were announced.

Winner: Niekas ed. by Ed Meskys and Felice Rolfe

Runners-up:

There was controversy this year because Leland Sapiro sent in a "whole bunch" of nominations for Riverside Quarterly in a single envelope — apparently filled in by students in a course he was teaching. (In those days, the nomination process was considerably less formal then it is today.) NYcon 3 rejected the nominations.
