1956 Best Novel Hugo
The 1956 Best Novel Hugo was presented September 3 at NyCon II. This third year of the Hugos there was still no shortlist of nominees, nor voting by the members of the convention. The winner was chosen by the NyCon II committee.
Winner: Double Star by Robert A. Heinlein [Astounding Feb,Mar,Apr 1956]
